Terms and Conditions

1. Course location

The courses can take place at your home, in the company, at the school or at another external location.

2. Registration and billing

After registration and course confirmation, we will send you the course invoice. The invoice is due upon billing before the start of the course. The registration to a telc exam is binding. A cancellation is possible, the fee has to be paid.

3. Class size

In order to achieve great learning success, we teach private or semi-private courses and in small groups of a maximum of 6 participants.

4. Course cancellation

Private or semi-private lessons must be canceled by the participant 24 hours prior to the lesson. A new appointment will be arranged directly with the teacher. If one participant cancels 24 hours prior the semi-private lesson, the attendee will pay the fee of a private class. Any changes of the course timetable or lesson appointments (for example due to holiday or illness) may be rescheduled with the agreement of the teacher and the class. If the class disagrees to change a lesson appointment, missed lessons can not be made up or added later. If the entire course is canceled less than 14 working days (Monday to Friday) prior to the course, there will be no refund or credit. The course is to be paid in full.

5. Start of a course

In general, courses can start anytime throughout the year, unless a specialized exam preparation course is having an upcoming exam in the near future.   

6. Class cancelation

If the course instructor is unable to attend a lesson due to illness or holiday, the lesson will be rescheduled at a different time or we will provide a substitute teacher. If a student is unable to attend the group course due to illness, holidays or professional reasons, he or she will not be eligible for a refund or replacement lesson.

A cancellation is possible, the fee has to be paid.

7. References to external websites

The ​​website may be linked to third-party websites through additional links. “abc sprachen” ​​has no influence on the content of these websites and therefore is not liable for other content form other websites. 

8. Governing Law; Venue and Jurisdiction

Our conditions are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich.

9. Personal data

The collected personal data will be treated confidentially and in compliance with all legal provisions of the Data Protection Act. Clients and participants have the right at any time to review, change, update and delete the personal data and can request this right by postal or electronic means by sending a message to “abc sprachen” (the address is written below). Clients and participants agree to the transfer of personal data to “abc sprachen”. If the client or participant objects to this disclosure, they must contact “abc sprachen” at the following e-mail address: info@abcsprachen.ch 

10. Liability insurance

“abc sprachen” ​​are not liable for any damage, injury, theft or loss of property suffered in our business premises while attending our courses and events. Each course participant is responsible for their own insurance coverage of personal property.
